WELCOME TO A GEM IN THE MIRROR 

    A space for reflection, healing, and storytelling. This is my personal journey through life, trauma, growth, and everything in between. I created this space so that I can express my emotions and share my experiences. But more importantly to remind others that you are not alone. 
    
    I'll be sharing my thoughts on navigating family dynamics, healing from childhood trauma, and growing into the person I am meant to be. I'll also be showcasing my art because well h3l!, words aren't enough and sometimes a poem, drawing, or picture speaks louder.
    
    This is just about me, A GEM IN THE MIRROR is about all of who have struggled,still struggling, healed, still healing or still finding our way. It's about offering a mirror to be transparent,reflect, and grow.This journey called LIFE can be messy as f%!k. It can be confusing and sometimes lonely, especially when we carry wounds from the past. Something I know a little TOO WELL. I am here to offer a raw and honest look at the way trauma shapes us, how we can grow, and that it will get better. 

    This blog is a safe place, a place to be vulnerable but yet showing compassion for yourself and others. Stories will be shared, laughs will be loud, and tears will fall. Healing happens in the most unpredictable ways. Whether you're working through your own sh!t like me or just need a place to feel SEEN, know that you're at the right destination.I'm not only telling my story but creating a community where you can be heard.
